Tour Itinerary

Day 1

The journey will begin with a driver picking you up at your residence or hotel. The trip should be short, with several fun activities along the ride.

Tsavo is home to some of Africa’s most majestic wildlife. On your game drive, you will see herds of elephants, giraffes, antelopes and gazelles, and some pride of lions, leopards and cheetahs.

With the help of a guide, you can get close to some of these majestic animals and take some magnificent photos, so remember to bring your camera.

One of the Gulana River’s most iconic views is Lugard Falls. The rapid water movements along the water make it an ideal spectacle for picnics and viewing the Yatta plateau and other wildlife animals.

In the evening, you will be taken back to one of the luxurious lodges in the Tsavo, where you can have a unique opportunity to enjoy some of the park’s exotic and local cuisines. The lodge also has excellent amenities like spas and swimming pools for your whole family.

Day 2

After your hefty breakfast, get ready for a drive to another iconic scenery called the Salt Lick Safari Lodge. The lodge is located a few minutes’ drive from the park. It offers a relaxing open view of one of Tsavo East’s watering holes, where elephants, giraffes, and other animals come to cool down after a long day in the sun.

Once eating some of the foods on Salt Lick’s menu, you will take a walking safari through some of the landscape’s sceneries. It will give you an ideal chance to get close to the savannah’s grassland and some wildlife. Bird watchers will be enthusiastic to see familiar birds in the park, including the African fish eagle, eastern black-headed oriole, and the majestic Somali ostrich.

Day 3

On the last day of your trip, you will travel to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. The sanctuary is located near Salt Lick and is ideal for seeing animals like elephants and interacting with the sanctuary’s caregivers.

Sadly, after your tour around Tsavo and Salk Lick, it is time to return home. A driver will pick you up at the park and return to your home or hotel.
